What's new

Axe has their own razors now.

I read it this morning ... I wonder if it's not a case of "too little too late". It seems that Gillette has won the "cartridge war" in Europe already a long time ago.

It's a Hydro 3, which is actually well-regarded by many around here.

Funny thing with Axe is, they started out with that horrific body spray, but they've made a lot of decent products since then, like their Pomade and some other hair stuff.

My favorite Axe story was my 78-year-old grandma giving my Dad and I an Axe gift set last Christmas (with the spray, shampoo, body wash, and deodorant) FOR US TO SHARE. She's a riot!

I tried Axe aftershave when it was introduced ... I've never looked at Axe again ... I did not like it at all!

I liked Axe when when it first came out. The smells just got to be a little too out there as time went on. Now even their old scents don't quite smell the same... All aerosol. Their hair pomade works well though. Can't say I am over eager to try their shaving products.

Gillette is preparing to launch ads focusing on ProGlide's status as top dermatologist-recommended razor, aimed at the more than 60% of men who say they have sensitive skin

Interesting.
