Avon AS for the Brown Leaf fans!

Gents,
When someone recently posted an Avon pipe, a couple brown leafers commented on having never seen one before. So I thought I would share my Avon Pipe collection with you. And this is not all the pipes Avon made, there are 6 other Avon pipe designs.

Here is the detail on the brown glass pipes:

My grandfather had the large brown glass one for all of my childhood. I don't think he ever actually used it but I always thought it was pretty awesome.

I don't know, but the draw is awful

Any time! Did he have any others? We have a large thread of Avon finds in the AS forum. Lots of pics there of other decanters. Avon made a ton of different designs.

I always see those in antique stores around here, unfortunately it's always the same two designs. The one you have on the bottom right of the OP, and a similar one to the bent pipe on the top right. Which is fine, I bought one that is shaped like a DE razor about a year ago, I proudly showed it to my wife and her rolled eyes just got back to normal last week.

I've never seem the calabash one! That's cool. I remember my grandfather having so many of them full of Spicy or Wild Country. Still love those scents.

I like that lower middle one that looks like a glass version of a cob.

The green one next to it looks like it's meant not for tobacco, but for....well, something green!

Thats it, except mine has a light blue handle. Or maybe its because mine is empty, I notice that yours has blueish tints at the edges.

Yes, it's blue glass. That is the only color they made the DE in. It looks green when full.
