I smell like a Christmas pudding
I love Fabergé Brut, especially pre the 1968 reformulation, I have owned this puck for a long while, the scent has faded to nothing:
But what about the bowl?
I had heard the rumours, I had seen a few grainy inconclusive Internet images, but even the very existence of my mythical quarry was not confirmed. There were the occasional sightings but nothing conclusive, after years I had almost given up hope, then one day I the stars aligned and fate brought us together.......
First the box..... can it be?
But what is inside?
The legendary green silver badged cauldron complete with lid - in perfect condition!
Surely I cannot be this lucky! My hands shake as I lift the lid.....
An unused puck of tallow Brut goodness, with scent still strong enough to make the knees of any woman tremble!
At last, after several years of fruitless effort, I give you........ an unused Fabergé Brut shaving soap in original china bowl, complete with packaging. The bowl and puck appears to me to be pre 1968 but the box seems later - does anyone know for sure?
