In total, I paid $19.50 for 1000 (!) blades. And the extra 400 blades cost me $3. It's worth noting that they are made in India, then delivered literally halfway across the globe, and the manufacturer, importer, and seller all made their profits. The production date on the package is September 7, 2022, and the local importer lists the date on the sticker as November 26, 2022.

Reading what the locals pay is always illuminating. I feel like I got a bargain if I paid $8 per hundred for Gillette Nacets. A Jordanian member here told us it costs something like < $4 locally.

I took pictures of the packaging and blades from my old stock (which are at least 6 or 7 years old) and the ones I bought today. There are some obvious differences, but overall everything looks pretty good.

The differences between new and old blades seem minimal to me, excellent product!
Surely the blades from the lot you just purchased dating back to September 2022 are among the latest productions, it seems that they ended production in November of the same year.
