Some razors I've used lately have been chattering across my face. I think now it may be my skin. Or, it very well could be the finish on the razor? Two razors in question have been a recent addition,a satin Futur and the other being a DLC. I had absolutely none of this shaving with a chrome Progress tonight. I don't ever recall this problem with any of my vintage razors either. I've ruled out the soaps and creams because I use a different one each night. I shaved with the futur 5 nights in a row and it just doesn't "glide" like the others.
Are some finishes on razors stickier?

It seems odd that enough of the razor would make contact with your face to make such a difference - especially with a good, slick lather. Do you have any trouble rinsing the lather off of the razor, in between strokes?
