Are Filarmonicas easy to find in Spain????

I know this is an odd question, but 2 days ago I bought 5 near mint Filarmonicas (just a bit cheaper than ebay) from a single seller, she told me she has some more, but not available at the moment (in another city).
Anyway, I always wanted a Fily and I paid attention to a seller on ebay that sells nothing but NOS Filarmonicas.

I haven't figure it out how much money he/she has made, but considering each razor sells for about U$300 and the amount sold, I would say near a few thousands.

So I was wondering, are they easier to find? or maybe they had access to a stach of razor? or maybe they just dedicate to travel around and buy from antique shops, states, etc, etc.

I don't know if you guys had come accross this, but sometimes I do, when I can't find it anywhere close to where I live.

Obviously they are limiting the sales to get the maximum price per Fili. They must have found a stash somewhere.

There are a few on ebay, a few from spain. Leon is selling some NOS Filarmonica on his online shop.

I had this experience, which I think is fairly typical. About a year ago, I was in a barber supply shop near my apartment. The original owner was retired and the shop is now being operated by his kids. He was there and we got to talking about straight razor shaving. He was talking about how they stopped selling straights when the barbers had to start using disposable-blade shavettes. Then he remembered that he had one razor in the back that was never sold and comes back with an NOS Filarmonica. The price tag on it was 49 Euros. I told him it was worth more than that now but he said he didn't care and sold it to me for that price.

I'm sure that there are barber supply shops in Spain, where the owners have stock sitting in the back. They don't know the current value and are happy for someone to take it off their hands. These people are just calling these stores and asking to buy what they have. This will go on for, maybe another year, and then they'll all be gone.

WOW.. you bought 5? That had to cost a nice chunck of change.. anyway,they are fantastic shavers,i have 2 of them. They are not much to look at though

Yeah I did pay a big chunk, but I saved about $110 in all, I'm keeping one, the rest are going to be presents for my nephews and my brother in law (after they saw me shaving with my Dovo 6/8 they converted to wetshaving )

So, to answer your question: No, it is not easy. I'm not in Spain, I'm in the country right next to it, but I know many Spanish wet shavers who say it is very hard to find NOS Fillys. The same thing happens here in Portugal. There are some Fillys allright, but not NOS.

There are a few on ebay, a few from spain. Leon is selling some NOS Filarmonica on his online shop.

Not anymore, I'm afraid. These are gone for good.

It made me wonder. I didn't care to look, but it seems that he/she has sold a whole lot of NOS Filarmonicas.

It may be a stash, or farming from different sources, etc. It just cought my attention, specially now that filies are seem so hard to get.

Mariona08 is a well known NOS Filly seller. He certainly has a stash of razors to sell. He usually puts for sale 3 razors per week.
Other similar seller is "esquirpia".
These two are regular Filly sellers. How big are their stock no one knows for sure, but these have auctions for quite a while now.
