I’m not one for a bright, colorful handle, so I love the very subtle white on black, but a flash really shows off the depth of the details!

I think you knew that I was gonna love your brush, that is a gorgeous brush! You gotta love a brush, that delivers the night sky to your shaveden! It seems like Andrew puts more effort into these brushes, because not only do they look amazing, but he puts his coin logo on the bottom. With my APSHAVECO brush, I got the G5C Japanese synthetic 24mm knot, in the Blue Lagoon handle, and there is no logo on the bottom of mine.

But, most recently, I finally found my ultimate shaving brush in a synthetic knot from Cayune Workshop, where I had a 26mm B&W Tuxedo style synthetic knot, installed in a Dark Nebula brush, and guess what? The artist installs his coin logo on the bottom of his brushes, just like yours there. I don't know why its important to me, I guess I just like seeing the artists touch you know. Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures of your new brush, gosh I love that handle!

With my APSHAVECO brush, I got the G5C Japanese synthetic 24mm knot, in the Blue Lagoon handle, and there is no logo on the bottom of mine.

I saw your pictures, that’s a really nice brush too! I like the Blue Lagoon for the same reason I like the Night Sky, and even thought about getting the exact same thing, but I didn’t want to copy you and @APBinNCA, lol! Then I found the hand crafted archives and loved the rocket engine shape, and when I saw the Night Sky, I knew that’s what I wanted!

You’re welcome, I appreciate your comments! I expect that with the G5C on this handle that this will be my “ultimate shaving brush”. Definitely a good maiden voyage with the Mama Bear stick at least!

I noticed recently that he has added a new premium synthetic knot, the MiG (made in Germany). Has anyone tried it yet? Is it a rebranded Muhle SFT? How does it compare with the G5C?

Haven’t tried. Phrenetical amount bouncing between G5A or Synbad for next brush I’ll adore but don’t need/shouldn’t buy/why can’t I make up my mind?!?! right now, but looking forward to your review.

I just went and looked to see if there was any left over handles that I might want, nope. Strange that I didn't get an email about the new knot... for the price, I would probably just get the 26mm since I don't have a large synth. I do have a handle that I could put the 22mm in though...

They’re not made by Muhle - I’m leveraging another manufacturer in Germany for the MiG.

Though I’d love to bring in the STF eventually, having a hard time getting a hold of anyone there.
