AOS barber spa?

OK, so I am graduating college in May and was looking for something cool to do with my dad and younger brother. We have an AOS barber spa nearby and the royal shave seems like a decent idea. I know there are local barbers that do great work for less, however my dad and bro have never had a strait shave before so I like the more spa aspect of AOS's shaves for relative newbies. Has anyone actually gotten a shave at an AOS barber?My biggest fear would be spending all that money for a face full of hamburger afterwords. Hopefully, they enjoy it and B&B might be +2

I've gotten a number of shaves at AOS and they've been a good experience. I would suggest the traditional shave ($35) instead of the royal shave ($55). The shaves are the same. For the extra $20 the royal shave adds a post shave mask which I did not find did anything. I think your dad and brother will enjoy it.

I took my daughters boyfriend down to our local AOS spa, where we both had the traditional shaves. It was a great experience for both.

I highly recommend it as a manly outing.

Agreed with both parts of this; I've had a few shaves there and haven't gotten chewed up, so you should have a good experience. And the extra cost for the 'royal' shave isn't really worth it, although they will undoubtedly try to upsell you into it...
