Anyone heard of a "36 German Belt Strop"

Hello gents, this strop has a handle and some kind of tensioning rods that the belt wraps around. Anyone know anything about it? I'll post a pic when I get back to my laptop.

I believe you are referring to a loom strop. They are in between a hanging strop and paddle strop, where the hanging has a lot of give, and the paddle has little to no give.

Shucks, I was hoping I could use my 38" waist belt as a strop too!
