I agree but it doesn’t reduce it the only thing iv found that does is detol as in detol disinfectant don’t know why but it works.I don't disagree but they have always claimed it visibly reduces dandruff not that it cures it.
Are you suggesting that other products claim to cure dandruff? I'm not following your point.
I use Grandpa’s Pine Tar soap. I used coal tar soap until it became unavailable. Great for dandruff. It is just a bar soap and all natural. Best shampoo ever.I have been reading about the harmful effects of shampoo on your hair and scalp. I also read that many people just stop using shampoo (they refer to it as no-poo) and comment on how their hair is in better condition. No-shampoo doesn't mean no-washing. You rinse your hair and either massage your scalp with your fingertips or use a plastic brush to "massage" your scalp. I am on day 2 with no poo. So far so good. I will keep you posted.
Bumping this forward. It's been a couple of years for me since I stopped using shampoo and my hair and scalp never felt better.
I've moved to washing with shampoo every 4th day but I use conditioner (Baxters of California) every day and that seems to be working well for me along with brushing it with a boar brush in the evening.
