What's new

Any thoughts on this razor?

It is a PAL Adjustable Injector Razor. Has a similiar look to the vintage personna's on the bay. Anyone seen or tried this one? Also, what do you think a fair price is?

I bought a nice one at a flea market a while back. It did not show any signs of use at all.

I used it for a few days, it is a good shaver, a little more aggressive overall compared to my M series Schick adjustable. I did find it harder to grip than the Schick, but that might just have to do with my style. I don't like triangular-sectioned handles very much.

I paid $5 for mine, I probably wouldn't spend much over $25 for a nice one.

The modernism/futurism of those times is so much cooler than the designs we see in commercial products nowadays.

i´ve shaved with one of those, its meh... nither good or bad,
but its the most manly looking injector on the market, steel good.

I bought one when they became available and it served me well for many years. If the non-adjustable had been available I would have purchased it. The materials and construction I think were the best I have seen/used; too bad it isn't manufactured today. It may well have been far ahead of its time.

I bought on of these in 1967 when they first came out. It was very expensive for the time. I paid 25 shillings for mine. That is £1.25. It doesn't sound much, but £15 a week was a good wage in those days. I seem to remember it didn't perform as well as the Gillette safety razor I used at the time. I don't remember what happened to it in the end.
Cheers,
Martin
