Any news on Target/Proraso?

Without a cheap, local, been-around-the-block-a-few times cream like Proraso, the only alternative for new shavers will be Toms Mint and KMF.

Not as cheap or as around-the-block, but many of the malls around here have Crabtree & Evelyn stores, so that's another option for people who either don't want to order online or who want to sniff before they buy. The creams are a significant step-up from the drugstore creams as well, IMO. With a corresponding price-jump, natch.

A webserch on "Proraso Sul filo del rasoio" does not lead to suppliers outside of Italy.

If my rudimentary Italian is correct, the picture shown in the above link is for a €4.90 "kit" of 25ml tubes of shaving gel, aftershave cream, aftershave fluid and facial cleaner (see also: http://www.coma.it/SchedeIta/SM_1573.htm) which is hardly a replacement for 150ml tubes and more appropriate for hotel rooms.


The Italian Proraso website http://www.proraso.com/ doesn't appear to have changed in months.
The red Proraso Wheat Germ Cream is still gone, except as foam in the can. So supplies in the market (Online, Bigelow has currently a $5 special for this cream) must be what's left.

I haven't seen it for sale anywhere in the US except for Giovannis site.

I don't think this new line is meant as a replacement for the old Proraso, I think it's more of a new addition marketed towards the brushless crowd.

Still, I'd like to try the rest of the line, soap, balm, etc. But $17.50+shipping for measly 25ml bottles is a bit too high.

I looked at Bath & Body Works' site yesterday and didn't see it. Did I miss it? If not, could you provide a link, please?

The $5 special is on C.O. Bigelow site, but it is for the RED Proraso. It was there 2 days ago, I can't get into their site right now.

The Bigelow's has been a life saver for me. A Bath and Body Works is even going to open in the little burg I live in. Making this cream even more access able than Proraso was.

How much was shipping? That is the only thing I am concerned about. Talk about the time for a group buy.
