I have loved the sound of the Rickenbacher since And Your Bird Can Sing by the Beatles.
I am picking my Fender again and have joined a beginner class to figure out the stuff I couldn't before self-teaching. It's a CD-60CE, a cutaway acoustic with pickup and built-in tuner.
Also my youngest daughter and I have been going out to a local ukelele jam night - she got one for Christmas and I'm borrowing one. It's a fun instrument.
That said, the chord names and shapes are messing me up between the two right now. D shape on guitar is a G on ukelele... Etc.

There is a lot of fun to be wrung out of a little ukulele, highly recommend but where is the knob to turn it up? That D and G moves up and down the neck nicely on their respective instruments.

Yeah it's a handy chord shape.
