Anthony Logistics Shave Cream

Hi gents,

Went shopping with the SO yesterday (we all know how that is ha ha) and I got this stuff. Was looking for something with menthol in it although this has peppermint extract in it so it provides nearly the same tingle, which I wanted.

Anyway - it's cheaper than art of shaving cream, and for my money knocks the AOS sandalwood I have out of the park.

Anyone else try this stuff? Thoughts?

They sell that at the same place I buy my Musgo products. I had always put it into the "metrosexual" category like Jack Black stuff, so I never tried it. I generally like how Musgo, Proraso, Trumper's, etc. have an old-school traditional vibe, but who knows? Maybe I'll give it a shot one of these days. After all, on a recommendation, I tried Nancy Boy with good results, and what could be more metrosexual than that?

Have not yet tried the shave cream, but the ASB is a great product and the pre-shave oil is thick but if cut a bit with jojoba is also excellent. The ASB is a bit pricey at $19.50, but it does not have added scent and works really well. I think I have gone through three tubes in the last year. But, my wife also likes it- don't know what she uses it for, but I see it on her side of the counter every so often. :001_smile

it is not a bad cream
i use it with a brush
ASB is very good and i will buy it again
if you want to give your shave an A+ shave after your ASB finish it with AOS orange moisturizer
it works wonders on your skin

@ neli: Sounds like a good idea - I might try it.
@ natchez: how do you cut the cream? Add jojoba while mixing it in a bowl/mug/whatever? I might try to get my hands on some EO or something.

Speaking of EO - anyone know a good place to get EOs?

I love ALL their products. I use the SPF 15 oil free moisturizer all the time. In fact, I often use it as an after shave balm. The stuff is just amazing. The only place I can find it in Providence is at Nordstrom and I usually buy 2 or 3 at a time so I don't run out. I've trid to order online a few times but with shipping and handling, it just makes more sense for me to pick it up at the mall. The online proces aren't really any better than the B&M.

For the record, the Anthony after shave balm is just as excellent. I'm currently using T&H and I'm anxious to finish the tube so I can get the Anthony again. The anthony gives my skin a really nice matt finish, and it makes a noticeable difference (for me, at least). It makes my shave look more polished.

I have a tube of the Anthony shave cream. It's not bad. I bought it for the smell and hoped it would perform, which it does OK. I'll probably keep it for my travel cream when I don't have a brush and just need to apply with my hands.

I got a sample of Anthony shave cream when I was at Nordstrom's in Indianapolis, and I tried it for the first time today. It was amazing. I got the best shave I have had in weeks, but it could that I had three days of growth which always gives me the best shaves.

It smelled like horseradish (which I like) in the container, but when I started lathering on my face I realized this was the menthol and mint.

I would recommend this cream to anyone.
