Another "fat" convert

I finally tried MWF over the holiday and WOW!! Totally reignited my love of shaving. It was that good! I had been using eShave lime cream, but somehow it always felt lacking compared to the Jagger soap I had been using before. And now, da fat rocks!! I love the scent and the perfect balance of slickness and cushion. I find it likes my face a little wetter than "normal" but when it's right it feels sooo good!

I got MWF for christmas.

I've used it twice, and so far I love it!

It leaves my face feeling great after the shave, and my wife actually likes the scent. That is amazing, as she has hated the scent of pretty much every other soap/cream I've used.

I got some Cella too, but I haven't used it yet.

MWF + Cella = two TOP performers.

I also used MWF for the first time over Christmas.

Despite its reputation I have had no problem creating thick creamy lather every time. It leaves my face feeling smoother than any other soap/cream that I own. And I love the scent. It has quickly become my go to soap.

And how nice is the ceramic bowl?

If the recent poll was right and Cella is a better soap than MWF, I can't wait to try Cella!

MWF is one of three English soaps in my rotation. If you think MWF is good, you're in for a real treat with Cella!:thumbup1:

MWF is an astonishing good soap. Took me a couple of times to get the lather right but after that it is just fantastic.

I am a big "fat" fan as well. Tomorrow should see the end of my Arko stick and then I will finish the remains of my puck of Tabac before turning to MWF.

I'm a new MWF convert myself. Face lathering produces the best results for me. Gives me maximum control over water to soap ratio. Good for my sensitive skin in this winter weather, too.

love the lather, the smell and the shave...although I think my skin is one of the few that freaks out on fat...I get red and burned after. Only soap that does that.

I still use it, but keep my epi close!

The wife let me buy a bunch of soaps from another member for Christmas and they just arrived, in this lot is a puck of MWF. So, tomorrow morning, well, really later this morning I'll be giving it a try. I would also like to put a shout out to member ctkelly who did me right with a great price on a load of different soaps.

i was also lucky enough to receive MWF in a ceramic for xmas off the trouble and strife..I must say i was itching to try it after a 3 day growth and it was fantastic. The best soap i own and the scent wafted past me for hours after, but more so the feel of my soft skin was a complete winner. I had previously been gifted a wooden bowl of kent shaving soap (black label on soap wrap ) and it is identical to the letter but much much cheaper to get a replacement puck...look up kent brushes on ebay and you may score a winner of a deal.:thumbup1:

I would not want to be without a puck of MWF....excellent. Cella, now that is just a slight step up from the fat. Enjoy.

Used it today, It was quite nice, no lather problems, very smooth. Now if I could only get it smell like Tabac.

A lot of Williams threads today, I've chimed in, and used this classic a few hours ago - BUT -

Inspired by Mantic59's video, I just ordered my first ever MWF (complete with snappy ceramic bowl) and dug out a stiff boar brush to use upon arrival!

Please don't tell any of my Williams bretheren:lol:

I've got a puck of MWF on the way. Looks like it's just Bob and I so far for the MWF challenge. Seems all these Williams posts pushed out posts down the board.

I think MWF is a great soap for the challenge. I've had troubles with this soap in the past and look forward to conquering the fat:gunsmilie:

I've just ordered another puck as well, I have had ZERO luck with the fat in the past but felt like giving it one more shot.

MWF definitely kicks some other soaps into touch.

When using it with my shavette I always seem to get better results than with other soaps/cream, for some reason it seems to "grip" the blade a bit better. It feels I have more control with it, although its probably a mind thing.
