Alternative to "Swedes"

I've been away from the forum for a while so I hope I'm not duplicating here!

With my supply of Gillette "Swedes" running low and no way of replenishing, I'm wondering if any avid Swede user out there has found a blade with similar characteristics??

Ihave tried several brands out since the demise of the Polish/Swede. The only comparable blade I have found is the Super Iridium. It is made in the St Petersberg plant in Russia and is branded with the Wizamet "W", which makes it a cousin to the Swede, probably.
Anyhow, I find them to be very sharp, pretty smooth, and relatively long lasting. They perform well in my Futur, E. Jagger, and old Gillettes.

Do you mean the Gillette Green pack Indian made 7 o'clocks?

Used one in my parker 13R Horn razor...MISTAKE!

Wicked sharp blade so I transferred it over to my Edwin Jagger 89L, the new head design. I figure it'll perform GREAT in this razor because it is so well engineered and works best with super sharp blades.

If you can find the Chinese made Gillette Blue blades, I at least find them almost identical to the Swedes, maybe a bit better. Not true of the 7:00's, at least IMHO. I'm not sure who sells them on line (I buy them in China)
