Almost BBS! .. But

I almost get a bbs shave every morning, but I can never get the portion under my jaw to be completely smooth. Doesn't matter if it the right or left side this is my trouble area.

Do you have any tips for under the jaw line?

I have the same issue. There is a part under the jaw that is very sensitive and will become irritated most of the time, especially if I try to go BBS with it. I've learned to do 2 passes with it and just move on. It's invisible to everyone else anyway.

No sense in risking irritation if nobody sees it. There are times when my mustache area refuses to be BBS - but if I don't get it on four passes and one touch up I just move on.

To be honest, I had trouble shaving this one part of my neck, until I tried a straight, and until I tried an English Aristocrat. I could get it bbs, but I always had to be on my A game: it was my trouble area.

So my advice to you is boring: make sure your prep and lather is good, and know exactly what direction the hair grows. Let that be your guide.

Have you tried stretching that part of the skin to a flatter spot?

I was surprised when I started shaving with a straight how far I could move patches of hair to be able to get it somewhere better to shave.

I have the same problem. I can get BBS every where on my face, but right beneath the jawline, I always get irritation which flares up quite bad during the day (which also makes it unbearable to shave the same area the next day). Razor bumps and whiteheads almost always inevitably follow the next day as well.

Whatever I do, good lather, WTG, XTG, ATG, I still the get same problem. I just hate the feeling of a BBS face but with a patchy jawline. I know no one can see, but I can definitely feel it! It absolutely ruins my entire day! >.<

Does anyone have any tips? (Or am I just going crazy over trying to achieve BBS everywhere??)
