A rosy kind of day

It was a rosy kind of day-Geo. F. Trumper's Rose that is! I had been waiting to use Trumpers Rose shave cream pending my finishing a bottle of Thayer's cucumber, as I wanted to use Thayer's Rose following the Trumper's shave. Usual face prep., loaded a new Crystal + into the Progress, and applied the Trumper's Rose. Very easy to lather. Got great glide with this cream. Followed up w/ warm water rinse, cold water rinse and patted face lightly dry. Splashed on the Thayers Rose.I cleaned up the den and let the Thayers dry, and then followed with Trumper's Coral Skin Food.

All I can say is that it was a rosy day, full of rose scent, and the reward was a very nice BBS shave. Trumper's Rose is now a definite member of the rotation. Will try the soap tomorrow. Nice product, even if a little pricey. I think that I am going to try the coconut cream next after this.

Very nice. Thinking of acquiring GFT Rose as well. Maybe some Harris AS Milk to go with it as I hear it is slightly rosy.

I love the GFT Violet, so I will give the rose a try if I ever finish my other tube.

I would also suggest the Thayer's Rose witch hazel. I was pleasantly surprised at the smell, and how nice it felt on the skin. The GFT Rose is a keeper for me, and it will be a permanent member of the rotation.

I was just looking at some rose shave creams, and was going to ask of TOBS, Cyril R. Salter, and Harris, which one would you choose? Trumper's is out of the running for me because it contains parabens. Thank you, kindly

Small world. Today was a rose day for me, as well. GFT rose soap (beats the pants off their rose cream), QED rose toner, DRH Pink, SCS Savory Rose Milk.

If it must be a cream, and with the Coates and TOBS rose creams defunct or reformulated, my go to rose cream is the fabulous AoS rose, getting a slight nod over the DRH.

Hmmm....just picked up some AOS Rose from BST recently. Going to have to give it a try tonight or tomorrow.
