Today I went to a local gun show. One table had a nice selection of old Smith and Wesson revolvers. Right between a 2" Model 10 and a 4" Model 15 was a Merkur 12C with box for 25 USD! It could have passed for new except for a fine telltale haze of old soap on the underside of the head near the handle. This whetted my appetite but despite a 4 room show and adjacent flea market not one other shaving item! A good find, it cleaned up perfectly. A good day!

This makes the "Razor at Gun Show" talley one more than the "Razor at Knife Show" talley. It seems you can find everything at a knife show...except shaving stuff. Sharp edged objects must not travel in packs.
