A good buy for a newbie?

proxy.php

Found this on Craigslist. Supposed to go meet the guy tomorrow. I just bought my first Straight on here last night and am waiting for it to arrive.

So since I am a complete newbie, I turn to you all for answers. Is this a decent deal for $25. I looked on the brush reviews and it seemed to have mixed ones, but for $25 I don't think I can pass it up.:confused1:confused1

Give me your blessing haha

Can't see it well, but AOS Pure badger brushes are about $55? Even if it's a bit used, that's a bargain. It doesn't really matter what the reviews say - people often compare them to something previously owned/better.

You have no benchmark: Any brush is better than no brush :thumbup1:

True, a bad brush is better than no brush, they said that it has never been opened, so I am going to go ahead and buy it:thumbup:

This was my first brush, used it happily for years. At $25 it's a good way to find out if you really like wet shaving with a brush.

God yes. That is less than half what a new one costs. Whether or not you will like it though, who knows? And if you don't like it, you simply trade it away!
