What's new

A good affordable gaiwan.....

I have been an avid drinker of green and white teas for quite some time, but I have never used anything beyond a teapot or my Zarafina. I would not like to spend more than $25 (preferable with shipping included). I have been leaning towards a basic design (ie white porcelain) that is approximately 125-150ml, but I am open to any recommendations!

Thank you!

I learned on a gaiwan just like this, but only eggshell thin porcelain. I've had this one as well, and it's very functional.

This is my current setup now though, which I think is a step up, although I miss my eggshell thin gaiwan quite a bit.

I would also recommend the Tea Gallery gaiwans, but they do not fit your criteria.

Get the ceramic one that thanks recommends. Actually, buy two if you can because you'll eventually break it and have to wait tealess for the new one to arrive.

To clarify, which of the three gaiwans mentioned would you advise me to get?

Thank you for the recommendations Thanks!
