Where are you? There are places to buy it in the states.

Proraso here in Italy is available everywhere: super-markets, drugstores, shopping-centers, etc.
It sounds really strange your friend didn't find it.
Here in Rome a 150ml tube of Proraso currently costs € 1.70.

I live in the Netherlands and here a 150ml tube online or in shops cost 5,50 euro which is too much. So I have to find it online for a cheaper price...
