Shave #124 of 366. Duplicate gear from yesterday and killed this tub of soap.

Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat (Tallow)
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: Rockwell 6S R5, Ti Handle, Wilkinson #3
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm
I went back to the R5 plate, and the Wilkinson blade was a lot more comfortable! I'm surprised that 0.1mm less gap makes any difference.
Got a comfortable near-BBS.
Preshave: Hot washcloth
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat (Tallow)

Razor: Rockwell 6S R5, Ti Handle, Wilkinson #3

DE SOTD, Saturday, May 4th 2024. #125 of 125/366 daily consecutive shaves.
Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable, MFG 2021>, any range. Well made but slightly blade forward even on setting #1. I usually get decent shaves with this razor and like to go up in increments as the shave progresses. The razor is based on the French 1930's Gibbs adjustable but uses standard Gillette blades + protected from blade tab overhang. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Personna Red(2) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity IMO. Great blade.
Soap : Razorock M.F, masculine nice cologne scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Deep stones" 24mm boss knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock M.F splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).

or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=

Shave #125 of 366. Third and final use of this Gillette Yellow blade, today in a Brass'Bird. Very comfortable, easy and effective shave. After several years of accumulating soaps and never finishing any of them I'm finally into a season of killing a lot of tubs in close succession. This tub should take four or five days to kill and then I'm moving on to my Summer floral scents. It's kind of nice to empty the drawer a bit.
