Tonight for Muhle/MdC Monday I used the same setup as the last couple of weeks. It just feels so classy using the Rocca set so I love to take any chance I get to use it. The MdC provided it's usual excellent lather and the 17th use Sharpedge provided a very good shave though not a BBS.

Back to MWF, and got a perfectly good shave — in between sneezes. Here comes the pollen season again!

First 3017 of the week and for my first pass the lather was a little too dry, I only noticed it when the foam stuck to the razor instead of washing straight off. The addition of a little water solved that problem and the 2 subsequent passes were much better. The 18th use of the Sharpedge blade was nothing special, but still good enough.

I was getting a bit of irritation yesterday, probably pollen-related.

I do the nose and mouth area first — I think this habit started when I used to get cut a lot, in the mid 1970s.

This time I did my usual best near-BBS effort there, and then slacked off with a single WTG pass everywhere else.

That's a good compromise between a proper shave and a perfunctory one.

Thanks! It absolutely is. Near mint condition if you ask me. Very light weight and stubble melts away. Looks like a scraper and is anything but that.
