The simple joy of a daily shave.

My rotation schedule had my very first DE razor in store for me today. Being where I am on my journey this is the mildest razor I have by a stretch. I still like this razor and would never part with it.

Subsequent headshave using the same gear. Nice and smooth WTG one pass.

I think about LJ, @LJBraaten when I use Mike's soap. LJ is frugal (in a good way!) and this is one his preferred brands. The soap lid is showing signs of my neglect but the soap inside is excellent. I am truly enjoying what I have. This quartet's performance was excellent.

Sunday's are an early work day for me so a quick as possible two pass shave using cream. Eight hours later I feel pretty scruffy.

Soap: EJ Limes and Pomegranate

Tonight with the return of the EJ came the return of the Lupo. I find that this razor tends to give me the best results with this soap though sometimes, like tonight there may be a touch of irritation, nothing bad, just enough to remind me I've shaved. I like this razor, but it seems to be taking a while for me to get it completely dialled in, not a problem I've had with my Muhle razors, or even the Rockwell.
The Big Ben blade is not the sharpest I've ever used, but it isn't a bad blade and tonight I still ended up with a BBS.

Shave #79 of 365. A Wolfman only week beginning here today. Used a new Astra SP and had a good shave off the .86 gap Wolf. Not thrilled with the MdC. Better stuff has really spoiled me.
