Next month will be my 3rd anniversary here at B&B. What a ride. I have learned much, and had great fun doing it. I am sure you are too.
In appreciation, I would like to offer this restored Ever Ready 150 with a TGN Finest knot. The brush has been test lathered in a bowl, but not used in shaving.

In order to qualify, you need to tell me what you enjoy most about B&B.

I will ship the brush anywhere, to any member. Winner will be selected based on an arbitrary, and completely biased format that even I do not know.
I may ask my dog, throw chicken bones, or just pick a favorite, random.org is also an option. :wink2:
Winner will be announced after I hit 10K.

I'm in! I have lurked here for a good long while before becoming a member. I have really enjoyed finding all the information I could ever need about wet shaving. If it is not readily available, all I have ever had to do was ask (which usually ended up with a link to a thread I wasn't aware of).

I'm in. For me it's the social interaction and discussion about something that I enjoy. The break from daily the tedium. The sharing of a common interest with like minded individuals, while exchanging ideas and information.
Congrats on the three years, and thanks for the opportunity on a great PIF.

I'm in. My favorite thing about this forum is that I am able to see people enjoy a task so dreaded by many. I try to explain my obsession but I cannot and can only say that through this forum I have found something new to try or experiment with every shave.

Please count me in. My favorite thing about B&B is the way (almost) everyone acts like a gentleman (or lady). That is very hard to find nowadays, especially given the anonymity the Internet provides. Everyone here is very willing to help out a fellow member, whether it be with technique tips or PIFing gear so others can share in the enjoyment. I just love this place! Thanks for the opportunity Mike and congrats on your (almost) 10K posts!

Mike, congradulations! I am in, I really enjoy the diversity of ages, experiences, and most of all creativity. There are so many great people here it is utterly amazing! Thanks Mike!!!

The best thing about B&B is the camaraderie I enjoy everyday I come here. In my real life, I have friends, but not one close friend that understands my passions and interests. B&B has kind of become that friend for me. It's kinda sad when I read that back, but it's true. I'm not lonely, or anything like that. This is just a great group of people who all share common interests, but bring such diversity and color to every conversation. That's what makes this the best place on the internets.

I'm in! What I love the most is the wealth I knowledge that the members bring to the table. For most things I google, for razors, soaps, etc I B&B. all the google results for such things just point me here anyway!

I also love looking at shave den pics to give me ideas for my own!

I'm in! What I like most is the conversations/reviews of some products I have never heard of. If I never visited this forum I would probably still be using the set I acquired from Amazon and would never have discovered great shave soaps, artisan's, boar brushes, vintage Gillette's, all these aftershaves.

Congrats on 3 years 10,000 posts!

I'm in. My favorite thing is that B&B is both comprehensive, I can find info on practically whatever I want to know about shaving-wise, but at the same time friendly and approachable.

Thanks!
-Chuck

I'm in! What I like best is the support and guidance that is available 24/7 from folks who have given the same darn advice a hundred times before, and yet are happy to do it again and again, for the love of the game.

I'm in. I like coming here because the community as a whole like to see you improve and will help however they can to help you improve your shave.

I'm in. I like learning new things about shaving every time I come to this site, whether it's a soap, razor or brush reviews and other shave related techniques.

I'm in! My VDH badger suffers male pattern baldness and the way it is shedding, I'll need a replacement before too long.

What I like best about B&B is that there's really nothing not to like here. The people are friendly, civil, generous and knowledgeable. I've bought, sold and traded here and the experience has always been positive, I've never felt cheated or taken advantage of. It's a great community.

I'm in

For as long as I have been I have not liked shaving - it was a necessary evil. As soon as I could, I grew a beard and only shaved to keep it groomed. I used the disposable razors for a while, then changed to electric and just lived with the irritation, ingrown hairs, and general displeasure of the whole experience. I was given, for Christmas I think it was, a shaving brush and cream. I started to using them and found that I enjoyed the lather. I face lathered but didn't even really know it by that name. Shaving became better so I counted my blessings and went on about my life. Early this year (2013) I started reading about wet shaving with a double edge safety razor. I recalled my Dad and Granddad both having safety razors but I never saw either of them use DE razors in my life time. In fact, questioning my Dad about his razor, he didn't even remember if he had his anymore.

I turned to the interwebs and searched for information, resulting in links to Badger and Blade, so I started reading ... okay, lurking. After my excitement / curiosity grew, I hit the antique shops and found a Gillette Super Speed and went for the shave using Dollar General blades. B&B had the information about cleaning my find allowing me the ease of mind that I wouldn't pick up, as they say in the computer world, the ping of death.

Looking back on this, and my membership at B&B, I simply enjoy the information and the friendly faces behind the keyboards. With just about anything in life, it is the people behind the process that become the staying power of, in this case, a forum. The vendors who pull up along side, the 'finds' by members, and the willingness of its members to help only serve to add to the appeal. Simply stated, it is a great community!

I'm in. What I've liked most about B&B is that it made shaving something I enjoy. I never disliked shaving per se, I just never gave it much thought until I joined B&B. Now I look forward to shaving each morning.
