2 nicks in my Illinois strop already

I was actual just practicing and made the nicks. I was wondering if it's easy to remove or can I still strop with them?

A little bit of sandpaper and you're good to go!

You may want to wait and use the sandpaper after you have 5 or 6 more nicks, that way you save on sandpaper.

Sand paper it so that you can't feel the bump anymore. I actually use a nail file on small ones. Saves me a trip to the hardware store. Or hardware department of any store really lol.

I had that same problem with the same strop...

a little sand paper and u r good to go again.

I think I smoothed it out as best I could.

Hopefully that will work for the time being. I'm sure It will get a few more nicks along the way.
