What's new

1926 schick repeating

It is silver-tone , have not received it yet but would like to know which type it is ( letter ) ? it is very art deco and every thing is in a rectangular form with long straight grooves going down it with some grooving also on the bottom end piece .

What's it like to shave with ?, and how does it compare with other injectors ?

Sounds to me like a B1. Refer to this web page. You should see it there and be able to determine which one it is.

the web site . now what are my choices for blades ?

AB

Any modern injector blades will work in the razor providing the razor itself is still operational and with the clip that holds the blades. If it is and has the clip, you just remove the blades from the modern blade injector and stack them in the clip.

Modern blades work & load just fine, mine is the C Type though it should be similar

Vintage blades generally aren't for shaving as the edges have dulled over time. If you just want to find some to go with the razor for collection purposes, the blades come stacked in a clip and are inside of a round metal tube.

These were called repeating razors because they were designed to load like a gun - instead of inserting a clip of bullets, you'd insert a clip of blades - and by pulling back on the end then pushing it forward, it loads the blade into the razor head. Then you spin the razor head out to shave.

Which ones? Any injector blades in stores today will work in this razor. You just have to remove them from their modern dispenser and place them in the clip.
