Myrkvior

Item Description

This is a very interesting soap- either you'll like it a lot or wonder why anyone would purchase it. Which, by the way, you can't, since it's sold out. The scent is vey unusual- i'd describe it as vegetal, with a hint of flowers. The soap is semi soft, and the lather is on the scant side, which isn't all bad, since the shave it enables is rather close. But there is no "buffer" of fat, since the product contains only vegetable oil. I liked it, but the prices on these soaps are on the higher middle side and there are many other choices.
From their site they say "Myrkviðr is pronounced "mirk vitter" and is Old Norse for Dark Forest. avocado oil and cocoa butter, and substitutes beer for water. "

Pros: Unusual scent vegan
Cons: pricey, little lubrication, scant lather
Unusual soap with avocado oil and other unusual ingredients. Polarizing scent- I grew to like it, but others were not so enthusiastic. Certainly leads to a close shave, but not in the usual pattern,
