To think I was contemplating selling my progress.......boy that was a great shave. I am a first time user of Institut Karite. I thought it was so so. On the second and third pass I added a pump of kiss my face patchouli and bam.....lather for dummies!
Super Max Ultimate Classic Shaving Cream (from UKDC)
Speick Aftershave balm Tom Tailor Speedlife AS Astra SP Muhle R89
The Supermax is a decent cream; lather worked well and the scent was ok. I guess it's a kind of classic barbershop scent but with a hint of something mothball like (camphor perhaps?). I got a decent shave with it but I found it didn't moisturize particularly well and had to apply some extra Speick to compensate.
