Last night I had a second bowl in the Altinok. Some home made dark fired twist. Aged about two months. Compared to the Dark Plug from Kent, the home twist was way stronger, (more than tambolaka) but not as spicy as the Dark Plug. Got the niccups about halfway through. IMO, Nothing compared to Bold Kentucky for flavor when looking for a strong dark tobacco.

Oh man. I'm pretty sure the last time I had a pipe was for the '18 LE herf. This pipe was incredibly tasty and satisfying. I had some roughly two year old McClelland 2015 (VaPer) in a Peterson XL02 Roundstone Spigot.

It’s a dark walnut water/alcohol soluble powder stain you can pick up at Woodcraft. I still need to give it a protective coating. Might try tung oil.

Smoking a corn dog in aviators and a top hat
Port Austin in a Stanwell 2018 IPSD. I don't know the provenance of Port Austin. A friend gave it to me, along with a Vanilla Custard blend. Both are house blends, but I don't know from what shop. Both aromatics.
