I Can See Better Than Bigfoot.
Is there a resource that lists all of the various types of vintage Gillette handles — with photos?
Yes, I’ve been there alot, but was hoping there’s a handle-only reference guide. Thank you!
I'm a big fan of the New and this may not help much but News were offered with many different handles.
I own some short combs with long handles and long combs with short handles and vice versa.
Below are some of the handles I have seen with US made New/New Deluxe three piece razors.
From left:
Ball End, Thin Bar Handle (Long), Shoulderless Bar Handle (Long), Thin Bar Handle, Bar Handle, Tuckaway style.
Information from @xillion
Some that are not shown are the short Norfolk bar handle, Red Black Bar, and the various British handles.
You mean like this?
From the left:
Ball End, Husky Bar flat shoulder, Husky Bar rounded shoulder, Common bar, Norfolk bar, Thin Long bar, Thin bar, Fat Tech, Thin Tech, Tuckaway. (not sure about the last 3)
or this?
They are from L to R
1.The Empire gold
2.The Empire silver
3.The Flower in silver
4.The Scroll in gold
5.The Shell with two rings in gold
6.The Shell with one ring (w/ a uniform diameter for the entire length of the handle) in silver
7.The Shell with two rings in silver
8.The Flower in gold.
I think 40'sI don’t see the smaller ball end that I’ve seen on Techs (with Gillette written on the cap). Are those 50’s Techs?
Yes he is. All the pictures are his I didn't mean to take any credit.Indeed, @xillion has been a very rich source of Gillette (NEW in particular) archival information.
Yup, that’s it. Found two of these today. I really like the weight of the handles. I am going to try one with my 1918 Old.I think 40's
Should make a great pair, plus you never have to worry about it splitting.Yup, that’s it. Found two of these today. I really like the weight of the handles. I am going to try one with my 1918 Old.

Thanks Nemo!OK, sorry, I didn't get down that far. Some people "borrow" my pics and I appreciate the occasional acknowledgement.
