Thank you Ron. I really like the peppermint cream as well. In the interim, I have been using Fine Lavender AS which has a peppermint component as well.

Stirling Gentleman today. 20 seconds to load the Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum in the Gillette Black Beauty. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman aftershave.

Didn’t change ANYTHING from the last shave. 2 days thick head growth, 5 FULL head lathers and still had a tad left over! BBS as ever, couple small nicks on the back getting SUPER aggressive ATG on the 4th and 5th clean up passes! This shave with an Astra SP may be my shave nirvana!

Last Night's Shave - 12|30|2017

Nurse Ratchet was Kind enough to let me photograph the Key From My institutions Razor. It was after Medication time so I was calm and sedated...

King R Emporium Soap (which smells so great!! guess this mimics a Gillette shave stick from back on the day) I picked up a few tucks of these Chinese Gillette blades from aliexpress when I made my 1st Yaqi brush buy as there so cheap. I read these blades are terrible, well I did not find it terrible - mild blade....

Actually my sister and her husband live off of Plantation Road, a couple of miles from you. I don't visit very often, usually when my son and his family fly in from Sacramento to visit his mom. I moved away in 1967 when I joined the Air Force.

Prep: 20 minutes in the sauna, cold shower
Pre-shave: just the bloom water from the soap
Soap: Pre de Provence
Brush: Whipped Dog 24 mm Silvertip, knot mounted extra 5 mm deep
Razor: Merkur 34C
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
Shave: WTG, XTG, ATG. Just a bit of buffing under the chin to finish

I don't think it gets any better than this. Ready for 2018
