the AOS peppermint actually does not have much or any menthol? BUT! it is has a ton of the peppermint essential oil and is extremely slick and smells great !!
Sweet!!! - I got my package but he sold out on the Star Jelly, and I am getting that in the next week.. The Star Jelly is a great balm - I have it for Pumpkn and Porthos, it is so soothing and it reminds me of 444 a little. I love his soap/shampoo pucks as they all smell and lather better than any other soap I own and also its great shampoo for my balding head.... I might wait for the star jelly before I use this new bay rum - I got the shave stick instead - which is the same thing but 2 oz in a stick - I have so much friggin shave supplies that I like the smaller size option. The bay rum cologne smells very unique... My bay rum is STEPHENS or MASTER comb - that is what my barber uses and that with clubman, old spice , brut & aqua velva was what I used for a long time until I got the 'wet shaving' collecting addiction a year ago. haha

Soap : Cella .
Blade: Rapira ~ Platinum Lux. (2)

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups DFS with no errors to report.
It's been a while since i last used The Indian Pearl razor, which was a pleasure to use, all of my shaves this week have been consistantly good.
I've surprised myself since i introduced myself to traditional wet shaving ...into my second year now, how much i look forward to my next shave, something i never thought i would ever imagine in a million years ,as i use to hate shaving with a passion using Cartridge razors,making it a mundane hateful task,now it's a sheer pleasurable experience each time i shave.
Finishing the shave off in old school style with a generous splash of Brut Original & squirts of Avon Wilderness EDT.
My Face is feeling cool smooth, & smelling devine.

... finally got my Rockwell 6c and damn it’s smooth. Like a knife through butter. Had to check the water to see how much stubble was getting shaved. No nicks or anything either.
Evocative overhead pic, Mathias. It has a very moody tone to it. I have a Rockwell 6S and it's a superb razor. I think smoothness runs in the family.

How have you enjoyed this OC month, Clint? I decided not to dedicate the whole month to the open comb because I wasn't sure my face would stand up to it. Still I've put in 12 and 1/2 shaves (I used the iKon OSS for one) for October. Maybe next year I'll give in.OCtober 26, 2017
