Please, NO! They both did some horror at the end of their movie career, but those were actually very good movies. Let them retain their grace and dignity.
Funny you should pick Joan Crawford in the picture. Not sure she was ever in a good movie. Or acted well for that matter. This dreadful movie also had a distinguished English actor--someone who's been in a ton of bad movies, has only ever won a BAFTA TV Award, spent time as a POW in a Nazi prison camp, and also portrayed a prisoner in one of the greatest WWII movies. IMHO, he's among the most underrated star actors of all time.

Agree on Donald Pleasance - highly underrated, but some of his movie choices sucked.
At least Joan Collins was really pretty. Sorry, couldn't resist. I think I agree with Donald Pleasence. He was in so many movies. It was really remarkable. I remember one from his later years in which he and some other oldsters make their escape from a group home and were going to retreat to some Eden. I cannot remember the details but he played a aging German chap who was once a big game hunter. He wanted to provide fare for the group. He pulled of these 'foreign' characters so well you forgot he was English. Good call.
Cheers, Todd
