I will be off making proper arrangements (I may not respond quickly). I will keep you guys posted soon. Please keep my wife and her family in your prayers and thoughts in this very tough time.

Robert, I'm very very sorry to hear about that. All my heart is with you and your family. And yes, my prayers will certainly be with you in this very tough time. Should you need any kind of support, please feel free to contact me anytime, my friend.

Another day og wonderful pictures guys!

Robert: I'm sorry to hear about your father in law, you will all be in my thoughts, take care of eachother in this though time.

Great weather today, the sun is shining from a blue sky and the snow is finally melting.

After three "shaveless" days it was an exceptional pleasure to shave today. I had the house all by myself and took the time for a long hot shower, and even better time with the shave. Honed this swede earlier this week and it did what it's made for, it chopped down three days of growth like a hot knife in butter, one of the smoothest, closest shaves ever :001_smile

I met all my old cronies during my morning constitutional. Everyone is out of winter hibernation and taking in the sun's warmth. It's still crisp out, but one can tell that winter is on the run. It made me feel like grapping for "The Veg..."

A glorious morning's shave!

I Pearce 13/16 // GFT Rose // Rooney XL // Floid Vigoroso

proxy.php

This I Pearce is now one of my favorite razors I own. Picked it up from the Doyle auction and it was once owned by Judge Lummus. I only did a light restore on it to keep it as original as possible.

Lummus date's these razors from the mid to late 1830s for this style of wide heel tapering to a narrow toe (only 4/8 at the toe). Usually I have problems on the heels of smiling blades, but this one gave me problems on the toe (more than likely cause of the reverse taper). I got a very good shave, but the toe does need a little more work. Next time I shave with this I'll even that out.
