I am not much in a mood to write a descriptive today so you guys will have to accept my apologies (we just heard that my father in law has passed away...no more suffering for him

). Great shave with a very heavy heart. My wife's has taken this news very very hard.

Nice SOTD. How do you like the Knize Sec? How do you think it compares to the original Knize?

Thanks Matthew. I love the "Sec"- IMHO it is probably more approachable than "Ten". Both great (and quite unusual) scents and far more appealing to me than "Two" and "Forest". If you enjoy Ten, I would strongly suggest that you try to test Sec as well.

Today I was in the mood for something a little different in the formulation of my ublerlather. Here is my Saturday shave.

• Preparation: Hot towel, pre-shave oil.
• Razor: Mergress XL with Personna Med blade (3rd shave).
• Uberlather: Palmolive Lemon (from India), MWF soap, glycerin, and a few drops of menthol.
• AS: Thayers Rose Petal followed by a shower and then T&H ASB.

The combo of Palmolive and MWF gave an incredibly smooth shave. The touch of menthol hit the spot!
