Why would you keep using a dulling blade

O it’s not dull (yet anyway). I just noticed that its comfort was less than the day before. Curious to see what tomorrow will bring. Usually I get 4-5 shaves with this blade, but the Matador increases the blade‘s performance so who knows.Why would you keep using a dulling blade
No, trust me if the blade is anything less than I expect in terms of sharpness or irritation-free it’s out!

There was plenty of time, and yesterday's shave was autopilot, so had a slow and thorough near-BBS. Managed to get all those annoying corner-of-the-mouth hairs without cutting myself. A bit of irritation, but let the balm sort that out...

Still in. The itches and urges from earlier this week seem to have subsided again. Feeling more at ease.
Three passes and I was done for a nice and smooth face. A little more stubble left on the left jaw line compared to yesterday.

The first pass was with the Hawk and blade #6. I didn't plan on using the DX and was honestly thinking about putting blade #18 in retirement. On impulse, I picked up the DX and it was a revelation. The B&M soap was so slick, blade #18 glided across my skin as if I was using a new blade. The B&M hype is true. It is an excellent soap. A DFS+ was the results.
Tomorrow is Synthetic Sunday!

Today was the 30th shave in a row with my WR1 .74! Time to switch for next week's SWS! I'm comfortable with the razor now and should be fine in auto pilot mode going forward!
