Verdict: Crom, God of shaving, protects his foolish shavers for sure. I forgot something.
I don't fully tighten my Wunderbar head after I had trouble disassembling it when a blade glued itself between plate and cap. I had to use Zippo fuel to unscrew the head.
Today I noticed mid-shave, when going over the back of my neck, that my head turned on the handle… OOOPS. I had forgotten to tighten the head before shaving! I got a particularly close shave there that burned with after shave but didn't bleed afterwards…
After tightening the head, I noticed that this was why the blade produced some more sound than I was used to, hehe… I also guessed it must either be a BIC or Feather inside, as I could feel the blade very well.
The result was, not unexpectedly, just WUNDERBAR. Except for the weirdly glassy strip on the rear of my neck and the realization that I got damn lucky today.
Next shave: Same setup, but with a Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum.
