Ron-Probably not. Although MdC does give good bang for the buck with its longevity, there are just too many American Artisans producing vegan soaps as good or even slightly better. LASS, Los Angeles Shaving Soaps, and WSP Rustic Shaving Soap are just two examples.

Stirling Gentleman today. 20 seconds to load the Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman w/Menthol aftershave.

This gorgeous old brush with its perfect butterscotch patina and wonderfully soft best badger knot was a real treat to use. Perhaps some would like a tad more backbone for face lathering but I found it marvellous. Nice to get the vintage Shulton juice out once in a while and that NEW head, whilst being mild for its type, gives a great shave. I highly recommend tracking one down if you haven't already.

Thank you Ron. The more I used the New, the more I enjoyed it. I hadn't given it a fair shake during the summer when I bought it, and had not used it much. I think I had only 2 shaves with it before putting it aside. I will definitely use it more frequently.

I ordered a chinese shaving set from the bay, which arrived on my birthday so I had a chance to try it out immediately
The brush wasn't bad at all, compared to my HJM. The Wilkinson blade worked very well with the razor. The Barbon cream and aftershave are still my favourite, it has a nice green menthol scent. ​

You are correct, the MR7 handle is a beast , it was my first DE Razor and I figured that since I am a big guy I would need a huge razor, I could not have been more wrong lol but it still works amazing.

Thank you sir. I like yours too. I was thinking of picking up the Cube. I just got the razor Charcoal Goods duel comb level 2. Everything in that picture just came in yesterday except the aftershave.

The CUBE is amazing, so slick... Post shave is also great. Hey love your garbage pail kid avatar!
