Used the Mamba for the 4th time. You do feel the blade during the shave, but it is very comfortable. Quite a contradictory feeling. Supersmooth, no sting from the alumn, but a "lot of noise" during the shave ;-) Odd sensation!

Preshave and shaving cream: Proraso green
Aftershave: Dickinson's Witch hazel and Wavol bay rum
Cologne: 4711
The works today. Very refreshing after a morning gardening. While the scent of the Proraso green cream is rather light, I think the strength of the preshave overwhelmed my nose to the aftershave and cologne (I tend not to use both proraso green creams together for this reason, rather using the preshave to add menthol to other creams)
The residual slickness of the preshave did tempt me into buffing a bit without proper lather, I think I overshaved a little but felt no long term irritation.
