Hypothetical ... ok, so you wake up late for work, you've got an important meeting first thing and you can't have any nicks, cuts or redness.
Without worrying about anything else but getting the shaving part right, what do you use?

Actually, I'll just shave in the evening then...since switching to a DE, the shaves seem to last longer than cartridge razors...I couldn't get away with this before but I can now. It's rough to the touch, but not noticeably forming a beard like before.

+1 on the Sensor. This scenario is precisely why I keep a Sensor on hand.

I'd probably use something like MamaBear's Rosemary Mint soap (something I can face lather quickly with a nice cool feel), 2 passes with the Sensor razor, cold splash, Cade or Nivea balm.

Cologne as appropriate.

I keep the razor with the cream and brush in the shower and the AS is in a cabinet just outside the shower. All I have to do is pull a fresh blade on the way in. If its a real hurry, I just do a quick lather and one pass N-S and shaving takes about 3-4minutes tops. I will have a bit of a shadow by the end of my shift though (12 hr shifts).

That's about a seven minute shave from the time the brush hits the soap til the Speick's back in the medicine cabinet.

I'f I need a 3 minute shave, I'd break out the Fusion and Goo followed by Speick.

Shave Secret shave oil and a Weishi (you really have to work to nick yourself with one!) with a red Personna.
Very fast and safe. Not exactly BBS but good enough.

Better shave than a cartridge razor any day and faster, IMHO.
