Your Favorite most underrated DE Blade?

Definitely the BiC. Not enough praise out there for that blade. The first time I tried one, I actually said "Oh, I get it now." It was that comfortable right away.

Still working throuhg my sampler, but I really liked Lord's as well and it seems they rarely get mentioned.

I have to admit, I've yet to come across a DE blade that I hate. Ya, some last longer than others, but I have never had one of those "I tossed the fresh blade mid-shave" moments. I'd say my favorite is the Dorco ST-300, just due to it being the cheapest I've tried, gives me 2-3 shaves easily. I could get more, but at 8 bucks for 100, I don't know why I'd want to. I've also never cut a brick with a Ginsu knife, Ron Popeil said I don't want to do that either.

I agree with FrankPoole on Lord blades but my first choice is the Super Stainless. Another blade that I really like but hardly come across on this board is the german Souplex.

If you had asked this question just 6 months ago, my answer would have been the Astra-SP. Back then, this blade was a relative unknown, but since then, it has exploded in popularity, availability, and the price keeps going down.

Now, I'm learning to love the Iridiums ... I received some samples from Stubblefield a few weeks ago, and only used it about 6 times, but I must admit, this is a blade that made me sit up and take notice.

Astras also are a great blade for me...I received a sampler a while back from slagle and I loaded an astra and about a week later I thought to myself..."hmm, I haven't changed the blade in a week...come to think of it...what blade is even in there?"...I had shaved four times with that blade and all of them were flawless, tugless, nick free shaves...so I cracked open the TTO, and low and behold, an astra staring me in the face...I recently agreed to a trade with a fellow BnB member down under so I have 25 of them on their way to the good ole' USA...

My favorite low-rated blade is the Dorco ST-300. Works fine, very gentle, and cheap. Results are not BBS, but definitely passable.

I must say, with proper technique, any blade probably works just fine. When I started with a DE razor, I thought these Walmart Personna's sucked. Being the cheapskate that I am, I continued to use them from time to time. (10 blades for about $2.00) Now, they are about my favorite blade along with the Crystals.
