Honestly, I don't know. I bought my Pen's seven years ago and then never got around to opening it. I figured if @Chickencutlets was someone who is primarily a cream user, he might like it.

I have used the tube one, it was very runny. Probably a bad batch or delivery temp issues.

The plastic tube version is not worth the price tag in my mind. It was good, but not $60 USD good.

I haven't used a wide variety of creams, but I do love Proraso green. I'd really like to try Proraso Blue at some point. I find Palmolive to be slicker, but the post shave feel of Proraso is top notch.

Someone mentioned Nivea above. It was just okay for me.

I have the Baume.be cream.......I think it comes in both soap and cream... their Pre-shave is outstanding as well, if you like a pre-shave.
