Yet another plug for Sue at Saint Charles Shave!

Ok,

For the first time in months today I had a sub-par shave. I chose to return to Derby Extra blades and give them a shot. I used Derby's when I first started and got less than desirable results (weepers, irritation etc). Now that I feel I've got the wetshaving experience down, I thought I would return to Derby's to see if my experience with them was just poor technique. NOPE!

At the end of today's shave, I had more red on my face (probably 5-8 spots) than I've had since I started. I didn't change angle, or anything from previous perfect shaves. The soap I used (Krissy's #15) was more than adequate to get a decent shave. The major variable that caused the bloodletting was the damn Derby. I know, I know. Some of you will live and die by the Derby. Fine. Its just not for me!

So...I initially turned to Floid Blue afterwards. BAD idea. Using this only exacerbated the rough spots. I rinsed and turned to my Bulgarian Lavender ASM from Saint Charles Shave. An hour later and my face looks/feels like a million bucks. I simply can't state enough how good Sue's ASM's are for their healing properties.

Thanks again Sue! :w00t:
