Yesterday's Find - My Best Ever!

While doing a little browsing yesterday with my SWMBO of 29 years Sunday, we popped in a couple of little places.

Almost finished when I spotted a tray full of straight razors in a large showcase. After looking closely, I saw another tray underneath the straights. I saw what I knew was a handle to a double edge razor. I asked the lady minding the shop if I could see what was underneath the top tray.

She opened the case and handed me the second tray. I was shocked when the tray below had 25 to 30 single and double edge razors. I picked out the pictured razors and left the others. Mind you, the rest were super speeds, gems, and autostraps.

The uncased Fatboy was found at another shop. Easily my best day in the wild. And, I found the bobble head Smokey to boot.

Of course the real treasure was my shopping companion!

Very, very nice haul! I just love the rush of finding a few forgotten gems! Oh, and congrats on the 29 yrs together! Just celebrated the 6yrs married and can't wait for more! It helps when you've found a good one!

You had a really great day out in the wild, and you found some nice razors too. Congrats on the razors and the marriage. Can't wait to see how those will clean up. I will celebrate 16 yrs with Mrs. H this month, so I am only about halfway to your mark. I hope to make it to 50 years with my catch. Then I'll be 80 and I can review my options at that point!
