Xillion's Walnut Shave Stand

When I saw Chris' (Xillion) walnut shave stand I knew I had to have one. So I contacted him to see if he could accommodate my request, and since then we have been working out the details.

I specified what brushes I wanted to use for the stand, so he could make the proper sized polyurethane holder. At the beginning we tried to incorporate a straight razor holder, but it ruined the aesthetics of the stand.

Chris was excellent with keeping me updated on the progress, I received lots of pictures along the way. Today the stand arrived, it is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted.

Everything is relative But shipping was about a quarter of the cost seeing as it had to travel over the pond.
