It is highly collectable because it is very early Star Kampfe Bros. razor and therefor one of the first safety razors... 1880s! It looks to be in incredible shape as well. I personally thought it was going to jump into the $700s in the last few seconds. You thought Gillettes were expensive... these old lather catchers will rock you wallet... and you can't even use them (easily).
