What's new

worth it

I was scouring the local antique store and found some str8 razors they had. I didn't recognize one they had that at first looked like Chinese writing stamped on it. It says Made in D.P.R.K on the backside scale, which i later found out to be Democratic People's Republic of Korea. To make a long story longer, I haven't heard any talk of this brand of straight razor and was wondering if anyone has experienced one of these blades? and whether it would be good to grab this to try out or are they just junk? I would be interested in hearing anyone thoughts on these questions if anyone would care to share.
Thanks Carey

I just remembered, I have a Korean razor too, Well, the frame part of a Frameback, the blade itself was broken. It is actually made by Samsung.

Anyhoo, how much was it, how wide was the blade? Rusty or not? Was the edge in good shape, or did it have a lot of nicks?

Sounds like you found yourself a North Korean razor, might be a neat to do a week of Axis of Evil shaves if you can find a brush, soap, and after shave...
