Working on a scope review

Will probably do my 5.45x39mm S&W AR15 first, then maybe my Sabre/BCM 5.56mm rifle. I will let you guys know my thoughts after shooting with it but I can already tell you that FFP scopes aren't too good for close in shooting because of the reticle being so small at low magnification.

As is: (Aimpoint H1)

Dropped a Redfield Battlezone 3x9 42 on my M&P 15. DNZ 1 pc. mount made the install a snap. Super clear glass and excellent reticle are proving this to be a most legit optic for an AR platform.

Ace, have you figured out at what magnification the rangefinder works at for that scope? I'm thinking about putting one on my L1A1.

It's a Front Focal Plane (FFP), so the stadia are accurate at any magnification. Drawback is that as the reticle changes in size with magnification adjustments, it can get tiny at low power. I shot with it this weekend out to about 110 yards.
